S5E8 'Surfers Against Sewage and Alliances Against Drilling', with Will Kinchin πββοΈ
Will Kinchin has been a good friend of the EcoSend team for a long time, so we were delighted to welcome him for episode eight of our Fifth Season.
Will runs a boutique creative design Agency, working with purpose-driven brands and charities.
But this episode wasn't just a chance to learn from Will's extensive experience as an Entrepreneur for Good, but also a deep 'dive' into the world of surfing, sewage, offshore drilling, and seismic blasting.
In this deeply human episode, Will opened our eyes to the challenge the UK's coastline and marine life face from pollution and drilling. His stories were at the same time melancholic and uplifting.
Melancholic to learn of the extent of challenges our coastline faces, many of which have only recently started to become public knowledge. But uplifting to know there are many organisations out there, as well as heroes like Will, who are championing the good-fight to save our waters!
So join us for this special episode where Will sat down with James to talk about:
π How his years at Falmouth University sparked a love for Britain's coastline.
π Challenges in communicating the plight of rural ecosystems to people living in urban areas.
𫨠How to navigate choosing climate-conscious suppliers.
βοΈ Offering expertise to charities, rather than just donating.
πThe consequences of ongoing 'seismic blasting' on marine life.
... and much more! β¨
This was such a wonderful session, with so many memorable stories to reflect upon. We hope you enjoy Will's episode as much as we
did π
